Is he getting alot of KR out of the hole?
FWIW my truck ran a 14.9 dead on every run before i did my motor swap. Yet on the street i would beat people running as fast as 13.7's all day long. Noone believed me i ran a 14.9 unless they were friends who had seen it first hand.
I however never got anything scanned to see what the problem was as i did a motor swap fairly early on.

 

Ok, converter problem or not, he is only trapping 100mph. Even with the launch issue fixed he's going to be hard pressed to get better than a low 13. I'd say he's got a tuning or fueling issue. Not that he doesn't have a good tuner, just that there is likely a tuning issue at that time. He needs to get someone to log his run and I'd bet he'd find the problem. An example of a problem he may have is not going into power enrichment. With my truck after a bit of playing I found that if I don't let the truck run long enough before I get to the tree and launch it, I won't get power enrichment until half way through second gear, but if I let it run for about 1 minute before I get into the water box, power enrichment works perfect and I'm about .3 quicker without changing anything...???

 

His trap speed is still low, he should be in the 103/104 range to run a mid/high 12.

 

hey its me the guy with the problem. i stalled it 2200 and launched and didnt hook and got a 2.4 60ft. then i tried 1600 and launched and hooked but got a 2.1 60ft. dont know whats up but im gonna check it out on tuesday. me and my tuner are gonna tune the f**k out of it again.

 

Is your truck lowered alot?

 

yeah its a 5/5 drop home made and with air shocks in the rear. i can adjust the airshocks when i want.

 

How much weight does the system add to your truck? Compressor?

 

dont know how much of a problem that it could cause but check and make sure the brake torque management is turned off

 

the airshocks arent like air bags, no compressor. it just has a valve like the tires and i put air when i want to lift it. and also all the torque management was taken off. well thats what i told my tuner. whats BRAKE TORQUE MANAGEMENT?

 

Another form of TM that kicks in while the brakes are applied and gas given at the same time.
