Amazing. Mobil 1 asked for proof and got it. Valvoline asked for proof and haven't been given anything.

sounds like a marketing spoof to me

but if there is no response from mobile 1 I will switch to valvoline

What's interesting. Is that Mobile 1 claims they meet the standards, and if I read that article correctly, they also claim they weren't aware of any good way to test to see if they meet those standards.
Is that right?

i use castrol, pensoil (sp?) or valvoline in that order, it depends if there is a sale going on or not

I use KMart, Joe's Supermarket, whatever is at my buddies autoshop. LOL Change that **** every 2500K and I am happy.

Hmmm, interesting info. I'm curious to see if/how Mobil1 responds....glad that I recently made the switch to Amsoil
