Default Vacuum leak at power brake booster nipple

I swapped a 2005 5.3 into my 1972 Jimmy. I have a leak causing a lean bank 1 DTC. The leak is at the nipple that goes in the push loc fitting at the rear of the intake. I bought a new nipple and that didn't help. I have tried everything I can think of short of epoxying the fitting in solid!!

If the pushloc fitting in the manifold is bad is it replceable or do you have to replace the intake?

Please help!!

Mark

You are probably missing the O-Ring inside.

Thanks for the only reply. I used an inspection mirror and was ready to replace (or install) the green oring that is in there. It looked fine and I don't believe it is leaking there. I have a bank 1 lean condition. I swear I can hear a vacuum leak but can not find it. I "think" I hear it coming from the back/right side near the brake nipple, PCV hose, ???

Kind of driving me crazy.

spray a little carb cleaner to find it. did you take off the intake for the motor swap? could have a bad intake gasket. pcv rubber fitting on the valve cover can leak. these intakes also have a fitting on the passenger side(right side) that sometimes is used a vac line on some apps. it should have a factory break off tab keeping it from leaking, but sometimes gets broken off. just put a rubber cap on it if it is.

There is also a seal at the MAP sensor on the top of the manifold. I would find someone with a smoke machine to help find the leak.
