think a Civic LX would beat one.. haha

i know they dont pull a load good.. well they pull it but feels like your riding in a ford.
a friend has a 01 ECSB A4, not sure of the gears? but we went to Summit, MS. and pulled a load of Garbage bags (bout 2klbs on a 1,500lb trailer, total of 3,500lbs) to Crystal Springs, MS, prob bout 50 miles one way, watching the gas needle drop.

well on I55 North the truck stayed in 3rd gear with T/H on. and i never though we were goin to make it up some of them hills, it would down shift to 2nd and rev its heart out! haha. and im gettin better gas milege than he is with my truck insig \/ but i bet his insurance is cheaper. and his trans might last longer "hehe"
Later guys
by they way extendocab, your truck looks pretty good!!

I had a 2001 4.3 5 speed RCSB. Had to turn the a/c off when merging onto the freeway. I'd be surprised if I could have squeezed a 17.99 out of that thing.
