I am not sure I know what you mean. The only black box down there I can think of is the charcoal canister. I'll need to crawl under my truck or look at some images online

Did circle d end the HP line of converters? I was looking at various manufacturers of converters for a 3200 stall speed, I've been out of the converter loop for a while but they had a price friendly HP line for the 6l80 but now its an empty page

Oh ok well if y’all figure it out lmk, I got my trans in and working on the trans mount crossmember. Then doing the wiring for it.

I made a little progress on this, got a quote to rebuild the 150 buck 6l80. The shop is backed up a little bit, I'll probably drop it off in a week or 2. I'm going to order a drive shaft when i get the trans in but I'm not sure about the auto cross member. I thought someone said the stocker would work but I can seem to find that info now.

From what I was seeing the 6L and 4L are damn near the same overall length. In fact If this info on Google is correct. the 6L is actually shorter...SO the shaft might be reusable if it has the right splined end.
