you can def fit 35's on there, for cheap.

I have a friend who has a 99 like mine, he has 35's on there. he has a 3" body lift, a 4" spacer in the springs (in place of the 2" that comes stock in there), and he has the torsion bars cranked up in the front.

I just got my 3" body lift today, also flares, steps, and getting blocks tomorrow. Hope to get the lift on this weekend, if it warms up to the 30's. Only 1 degree out now, so a little chilly.

I plan to get American Eagle 102's, which is a simulated beadlock, and 35" BFG Mud T's.

I have some pics of his truck, if you would like to see what it looks like with the 35's. Pics of mine should be available the end of next week. I want to get the lift on there first, try his rims on there, and if they do in fact fit with no problem, then I'll put my order in.

I had a body lift on and turned up my torsion bars. I was running 285.75.16s with no problem. But any larger tire and you will need to take it easy on hard turns and off roading. They will hit.

I think a 295.75.16 or a 305.70.16 option might be better.

 

305/70 is basically a 33/12.50 i believe bigtex... that is the most id run with a 3in body...

 

the three body alone will only take a 33" tire.unless you are going to do some trimming and drive very carefully. but if you are adding blocks and cranking down on the torsion bars like your buddy you could prob fit the 35's. we put a 37" tire on my cousins truck and it barely fit with a 3 body 9 sus. would of prob had no prob with a diff wheel offset.

When you guys say that it will hit, are you refering to the tire hitting the front bumper, or something on the truck? Please tell me the common places for rubbing.

He has his mounted on 8" rims, but wished he had used 10" rims. Does anyone know the best back spacing to get? I have some nice flares, so I am not worried about them sticking out. If I get the right BS, shouldn't that avoid any rubbing?

I know most people are against turning up the torsion bars, but I have rode in trucks with suspension lifts and in his, and there is hardly any difference in the ride. I think once I get mine on, if I think the ride is too high, then I'll be looking for a different shock to make for a better ride.

yeah it does sit about 2" higher than a 1500 and they are on 8" rims. nobody believed they would fit but they did and it isnt that bad

 

i have 35s on my 98 2500 sub with a body lift and some torsion bar cranking. there is only some rubbing when the wheel is slightly turned, it rubs the back of the fender but thats it
