Default Underseat Storage in Chevy Extcab?

Anybody tried any underseat storage systems for Chevy Extended Cab trucks? I have tools and the ratching tie downs in my truck and they seem to slide all over. I saw this one from Bestop and it looked pretty good. http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

GM makes a lockable underseat box that runs the width of the cab. I had one in my '03 from the factory.

Came with the SSS. Come in real handy on trips and track days

Oh yeah, my protection goes in there from time to time as well

Hey guys, here's you a part number to the Underseat Stowage Box from GM. PN# 12498846......they retail at $365.00

That's a bit steep but, ask them for a price match and if they'll match, I'll fax you guys a price from my store for about $280.00 so you can get a better deal!

Just let me know if you guys need me to do that for you.

the only problem I have is that not only are existing solutions a little pricey, they also don't have an option for only partially using that space. I have a 10" sub on the driver side under the seat, I need a box that covers the center and passenger side only. I think I may have a solution in a friend that does sheet metal work... custom is always better anyway

Yeah, I had to take mine out to run a 12" sub, exactly. Custom is cool

DUHA UNDERSEAT STORAGE
Does it interfer with getting out the factory jack?

Also does it effect the seat lower at all?

Awesome Picture

I think it is in the way just enough that you would need to move it forward a little bit.

The top of the duha sits flush with the bottom of the seat. Doesnt effect lowering the seat at all. Rear passengers never know it is there also.
