I know what your saying. To me it is just the same resistance you get with a clutch type posi. They all are a little dangerous in the rain due to both tires getting even power and both loosing traction at the same time.

Yal guys chirp the inside tire going around a turn? If you're turning and a tire gets into some gravel does it start spinning immediately?

My damn Powertrax locker is pissing me off. If the rear-end isn't 100% smooth it throws out and puts 100% of the power to the driver's side wheel. Didn't used to do this, only recently (maybe worn out springs)...

if i give my truck any decent power around a turn it'll chirp the inside wheel. i dunno about the gravel scenario... i assume it'll spin and catch up to the outside wheel.

so down the strip would it give a better launch or traction than the g80?

What ratio are you going with? I have 4.56's with my 6 speed and love it,I also installed a tru-trac when I did the gear swap. I had to do some trimming on the tru trac due to the gear thickness.
