Default Truck won't start please help

I'm so pissed right now. I have no clue what is wrong with my truck i tried starting it a couple of hours ago and that damn thing did nothing. I know it is not the battery bc i was driving the truck just 30 mins before also we tried jumping it. Everything works on the truck like the lights and everything accept for when i turn the key it does absoulty nothing not a single sound. if anybody else has had something like this happen then please chime in. I know this is the wrong spot for this but i need help quickly. Btw the truck is a 2002 with 54k miles this is the first problem i have ever had with the truck in the two years i have owned it. please help me quickly thanks in advance. Kyle

Is the small wire connected to the starter ? Is the fuse link at your jump port ( inside the red plastic cover between the battery and motor) ok?

We have checked all the fuses and i looked inside the red box it looks ok. My dad checked under the dash to make sure the sensor or linkage that stops you from being able to start the car in any other gear besides park or N was working and it is. I dont want to take it to the shop bc i know it prob is a minor problem and i will have to get it towed there just to find out it something very easy to fix.

My buddies truck did the same thing. He had a blown 50amp fuse and kept blowing them. In the owers manual tells you why it blows the fuse. It's parts of the anti-theft system. We put in the last 50amp and set the alarm off with the remote and then disarmed it and it started up. Check you fuse under the hood.

my truck did the same thing coming out of home depot 2 weeks ago. i had it towed to a local garage and they found it to be the starter. or at least thats what i paid for. it went without warning,it showed no signs before hand of stress, no grinding. i hope this helps you out.
