Default Truck with V10's, Should I be worried??

Well, was on another forum. Guy was started in on my "sig" HD stand for Hemi Destoryer" Sense that he is a big DCM guy, or a big old Hemi guy.

Since this is local forum. there a chance I will be meeting up with him in pulling and maybe drag racing if I can convice him to rum em. We are in the same pulling club. Really good chance.

Has anybody had experience running against a V10 ford or dodge??

Just wondering, rarely ever see v10's or see them run.

later

A good friend of mine. His dad had a dodge V10, and at the time my friend had a 5.0. The dodge would smoke the hell out of the tires and felt as it could take the mustang. they never raced but I am sure that it would be a close one.

I've driven a V10 Ford F250 RCSB and the thing was a total DOG! Granted he had 35" tires and a stereo but that damned thing couldn't get out of it's own way on the freeway. Punch it at 70mph and the motor just makes noise and you don't really go anywhere. LOL

The only v10 I've been impressed with is in Vipers and SRT-10 Rams the rest are turds. I think the verdict is still out on Fords new 3 valve v10.
