I've considered making a kit to put the battery in the back under the bed, but making a battery box mount would not be very practical or easy to mass produce with my limted fab supplies/ability.

Lose them tailgate. My truck rear raises like 1/2" after I take it off.
Floor mats...yeah they are heavy on the 03'+ models.
