it would be sweet to have it the same place it was last year, it's a big drive from here, but it was a nice track. maybe HRP would be better since there's such a load of board members from houston and the turn out might be bigger there.

Little bit of complaining about our radials. No dig deal after I think about it. They were worried that we tore up the track, but the track was prepping each time after our round. They let us run the **** out of our trucks though. I bet we got more passes than anyone. I know I made over 10. Every time you go to any type of event with different classes, someone is always a little mad about something. I mean there were people complaining that the LSX intake was unfair and should not be allowed, certain slicks etc...always something. But hey, that is racing. It would not be as much fun with out a little contraversy.

I'm interested in going to the next function (Spring Break?). Any ideas when and where it might be happening?

The SBSO will most likely be at the same place as last year. The San Antonio Raceway, right off I-10 just east if SA. A date has not been set yet, but look for something between March and April area. Organizing is taking place right now.

SBSO to be in San Antonio www.SanAntonioRaceway.com

Tentative (hopeful) date is March 7th. Could possibly be scheduled for March 14th. I should know more details in two weeks, they are setting up their yearly schedule as not to conflict with other series events across the country.

I'm pushing for a truck-only bracket event. I know you guys like to race truck vs truck. The staggered index classes at Thunder were kinda lame for a field of 13-15. Its much easier to just run brackets, and Greg wouldn't have had to part his truck out to be competitive

Jacksonville, FL to Marion, TX = 1055.77 miles
(estimated driving time = 17 hours, 20 minutes)

Are there going to be any events a little closer to Florida in 2004?
