Default Tried Making my truck a sport-side (wreck/pics)

Yea... well when you mix a road that is JUST been wet (oily roads), the one wheel wonder, and a powerful chevy... this is what happens.

I was getting ON the interstate... now I'm not sure why there is such a sharp turn there, but it doesnt matter, i accelerated stupidly anyway on a slick ground... I spun around the corner and I could have re-gained control, but after i applied the brakes, they almost felt like the locked up and the truck ended up climbing up an embankment. I hit a sign (which was placed in the middle of no where...) and a tree.. but the tire just hit the tree, i was worried about damage underneath.. however, this sommma bitch(as us southerners would say... if i was southern) is built like a tank. No under carriage damage at all... except for the bent tailpipe...

The truck ended almost at a 90 degree angle on the upward embankment and so i couldnt move bc the bumper ate the ground... luckily no damage to the bumper... which is odd, and no damage to that taillight as you can see. So basically, now i'm going to go ahead and do what i wanted to the truck.. which is put my roll pan on which has been in the garage for 2 months and than paint that, get the obvious repaired from the accident, and than re-do the exhaust to go before the tire on the passenger side like the SSS, and lastly shave the tailgate and get rid of the scratch that my brother made(dont ask).

Here are the rest of the pics.

And.. the italian stallion is down but not out..

That sucks, sorry to hear about it. Is the inside of the bed damaged or just the outer skin?

Skins wouldve totaled mine. I think they are real damn expensive. Wet roads/power sux even with two wheel peal. My boat decided to pass me up. But it didnt take itself off the trailer first. Ouch. Anyway look at the bright side. Good excuse for that ro;; pan.

I got lucky on an on ramp when it was lightly raining I gave it too much and the *** completely broke free at 50 mph I went sideways but was able to bring it back, luckily there was no one else in the other lanes.

That will buff right out.

All joking aside I think now would be the perfect time to be the first person to put the wide bed from a quadrasteer on there and put some WIDE tires out back.

lol... ya thx golden.

So I dont get screwed by the body shop... they will have to replace the entire driver's side of the bed? And ya, i beleive its just the skin, no damage to the inside of the bed...

and now that you say that, it does look a little un-even, the tire or suspension.. i need to check that out, it rode fine on the way home tho.
