Pretty sure tahoes didn't change anything until 2000. They all use the 4l60. Trucks were the same from 96-98. So you should be able to look for those years at least.

i have a 4l60 from a 95 camaro that would most likely work, youd just have to use your output shaft and tail housing from your current tranny to convert it to 4x4. even have a 3000 stall torque converter to go with it. where are you located? the transmission is a fully built unit with only 3k miles on both.
