theres only one way to find out!! not that expensive...just do it and if it yields bad results just put the clutch fan back on! and sell the fans and wire harness... fans and harness really dont loose much value..

i say go for it!

are you like a pro fisherman taht you need to fish 2-3 times a week? if so thats bad ***!

If you decide to try I'd at least get a scan gauge so you can see what your actual ECT's are instead of relying on the dummy gauge in the cluster. I have problems when I'm pulling a long hill, even if it's a very slight one. Personally I would stick with a clutch fan in your situation, but that's me and I'm sick of trying to get back to the right combination of parts to keep my temps down. I think your trailer is lighter than mine too, mine is about 5000-6000 lbs vs your 3500. I think at this point my opinion is that the extra strain on the electrical system plus the cooling issues I am having are not worth the minimal gains I see from running e-fans.

Haha, no, im not a pro fisherman, i wakeboard, but i'd like to be pro at it so im working my *** off at it.

Well i guess i'll try it then and see how it works out while monitoring it w/ efilive. Why not upgrade your alt.? I plan on doing so soon after switching to e-fans. I'm more looking for the mpg increase, 11.7 sucks. well, average 10 flat now w/ my boat. Do you think the radix could play a part in the overheating? Maybe a larger ic heat exchanger would help a little bit. Does your fan shroud cover almost all of your radiator? Have you tried lining the seal between the shroud and rad. w/ foam to get more pull? Maybe put the radix hxcr behind the bumper w/ its own fan? Idk, just some ideas. Try them and see if they work so I can use them lol.

Don't count on too much of a mpg increase with the E fans. I check my mpg on every tank, usually right at 17 mpg. after the E fans....right at 17mpg.

even after the tune, e fans, and cai my mileage is about the same.

I tow all the time with e fans going up that long *** hill on the 10 Frwy,on my way to Havasau. You know where all the cars are pulled over the side for overheated engines. Its like 20 miles up hill.Use a heavy gauge wire on thoes fans and make sure connections are tight. If you have a loose connection the wires will melt.Carry extra fuses to.I also upgraded alternator and a yellotop

2 boats 4 sale 32 skater and a 20 stoker

If you're worried about overheating, forget about the overpriced temp controllers and all that fancy junk. Just buy an Advance Auto (only place I found one) relay kit, wire it for key-on, and bypass the temperature sensor so the fans are always on full speed. I've had used LS1 fans on my truck 100,000 miles always running with key-on and no problems. The fan motors are made to last a long *** time. Also put some thick foam (made for window unit A/Cs) between the fan shroud and the radiator to suck in outside air only and also to protect the radiator. It also helps by putting more space between the fans and the radiator so air flows over more surface area, rather than the 2 circular areas the fan cover. Also the temp gauge shows about 20* higher on my truck than what the pcm is seeing, so it's not always accurate. My 2 cents anyway. Oh yeah, be sure to used heavy duty fuse holders with a water tight lid over the fuse or you will burn the holder up eventually. Sometimes the fuse holder the kits include is a piece of junk. Good luck. I know when I drive my 03 truck with the clutch fan, the whirring noise is annoying as hell!!!
