What years of gm trucks have torque management?

99-09

torque management got WAY worse in the later years... from 06-present. my 07 wouldnt spin a tire when i bought it. it was horrible, IMO

i think the TM function was increased over the years, so that GM could get away with that 5 year/50,000 mile standard warranty.

That is correct... 99-02 pulls timing for TM,, 03+ pulls timing and closing the throttle for TM i believe..

Does the 1500HD? 2500? 2500HD? 3500HD?

Just get a custom tune dude I have zero TQ mgmt. in tow/haul and only 20% without tow/haul. BlackbearPerformance.com
