tires and a brake question

I just installed a set of 315/50R20 Nitto Mud Grapplers on a friends 2500 Mega Cab Ram and they look great! He could have went up at least 1 more size...but.
And yes you can turn your slotted rotors, but I don't reccomend doing it on an On-Car brake lathe. I trun them easier on our AAmco lathe....it's 30 years old but it's the best. Just out of curiosity, why are you turning the slotted rotors anyway? The shoulden't be warping on you....I only turn them if they have rusted really bad. But if you get a stainless set...you don't have that to worry about.
