Im having a hard time with my insurance co (farmers) because they wont help me out.. I went in today to have a meeting with them about my 02 SD insurance coverage and they wanted me to go to their "new" policy which had the same DED but a 35 higher premium every 6 months for a toal of $890 every 6 months!!!!!!

I pay 855 every 6 months right now and im getting tired of it... 1250 DED, 100/300/100. Im 24 and have 0 points... Whats the deal?

What im asking for is to see what companies you guys are using and what your premiums are. Obviously age matters and marital status is a big one too... LMK what you have and what you pay!!!! Thanks a bunch!

 

I say shop around. You are 24 and are about to get a discount at 25. Well, you would if you lived around here. Not sure about in your area. Having no blemishes on your record, you are a good candidate for better rates.

I am 24 and married and have an 06 silverado and through USAA I pay $376 for my 6 month premium for full coverage.

 

I called 1 800 thanks al and got the best deal by far. They search over 200 companies for the best deal. I'm 24 and pay 595 for 6 months, I can't wait for the 25 year discount.

 

WTF? Do they charge you to do the search or something? Is that for full coverage?

Ive been married since i was 21, so i cant get you something to compare to... but i pay $220/month, for full coverage on my 2 trucks, wifes car, and travel trailer...

 

i have geico. im 22 no tickets. but for my 05 SS thats financed. and my blue 96 full coverage was 130 a month.

but i sold it and price jumped to 145 for just SS cause i lost the mutlicar discount.

I pay 1,300 every 6 months for full coverage on all 3 vehicles, 24 and married. 500 deductible with no points on our record, one claim last halloween for vandalism. I also have rental and towing insurance. Its a little higher than gieco, that woulda been 950 but USAA has always taken care of me
