Default tire spin ?

i have a question that baffles me any information welcome. truck is as follows 2004 rcsb 5.3L auto stock converter with 3.73 posi 285/50/18 street tires. engine mods are cai, ported t/b, dynatech lt headers, full borla exhaust, compcams 212/218 cam and dyno tune. dyno numbers are 305hp 303tq@5900rpms at the wheels. to the best of my knowledge even with stock converter this set up should be able to break the tires loose, yet much to my amazement nothing. truck feels dead off the line. new converter is my next mod and this should solve this dilema however none of the other mods have fixed this and i will not be happy if i drop the tranny and still no burnout. Is there more power to be had in the tune? am i just not in the cams powerband and will the new converter fix this? or do i just need more power(i.e slap a turbo on it, or hit it with a 100 shot and call it a day)? all ideas welcome.

its in your tune and your converter. probably still have torque management enabled in the tune, and the stock verter is around 1400 or whatever it is?

get yourself a 3000 yank in there, and get your tuner to turn off that torque management.

your next thread should read " How can i get traction?" LOL

old man bob is what they call him. hes a retired gm technician. he was a reputable tunner in my area when i was there he had been workin on a old 4 door volvo with a twin turbo ls motor in it. quite funny actually. couldnt imagine getting my doors blown off by that sleeper! anyway tourque mgmt was turned off when tune was done but they did have trouble flashing my pcm and had to pull it to do it. dont know if the tune took but it seems to pull pretty good anywhere from 35 on up.

First off I would suspect the tune. If not there, I would make sure your cam was installed straight up and not a few degrees retarted.
