A P285 60R 16 or P275 65 R16 will fit the stock wheels. I went with a BF Goodrich Sport Truck T/A
and I am very happy with them. You can also get a Goodyear in the same size. I went with the BFG
Truck TA since it is H-speed rated and they are also LT metric sized, so they are load rated for
a light truck.

Where is a good (cheap) place to get the BFG sport truck TAs? I am also about to get some different tires for my 16X8 Pythons. Gonna drop it 2/4 so I was thinking like a 275/55 or something. Something about 28" tall.

hey vortech5300,
try discount tire right on shaver.
i know a couple of guys that work there, they are always pretty good with the prices and good service. maybe if you need a hook up, i can meet you over there and see if i can at least get them not to charge your for the spin balance and the extra little **** they charge you for. let me know.

Check Tire Rack through our link here at the site. I have bought from TireRack and Discount and got good deals from both.

Thanks for the offer 02 Z71. I to have a hook up on tires once I find what I want. Prolly gonna wait until I get enough $$ to lower it and install the rubber at the same time. I am going to do the bolt on stuff first though.

yea, i'd say drop it, then buy the tire size that fills up the wells.

i got my truck dropped at alliance on southmore.
i did the 2" shackles in the back first, rode good, no problems. then i took it back to get the 2"/4" and shortly after that, thats when i started to experience terrible wheel hop which later caused my rear end to blow. i had a stack of metal shavings in my differntial about 3" high.
i just got tired of the wheel hop so i bought this new one that i dont think i'm going to race out. (a moment of silence for old red.... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />
