WOW, that looks very expensive.
i checked these part #'s on gmpartsdirect
and the price came out to over $1200;
much less if you have to get someone to do it for you. can you imagine the labor costs?

i think i'll keep my $120.00 billet insert.

(i think this would be a, i dont have anything else to do with my money mod!!)
and god knows i dont have that kind of $$$

Hey thanks guys for taking time to find these, I really appreciate it.
99Z71, Is the part number (# 12479754 - Bumper cover) like the C3 cover right? I just want to make sure because there is no picture for it at gmpartsdirect.com (know of any other places to order that show a picture maybe?) Also with the retainers do i just put in quantity 12 and quantity 7 for those two retainer part numbers? Are those retainers needed to simply put on the Bumper cover alone as I won't be changing my entire front end just a bumper cover. What is the "Insert" and "Impact Bar"? Alright, that should be enough questions Thank you for the advice again.

In the July 2002 issue of Truckin on page 270, JBM sells the "00-02 Denali Style Airdam w/ Billet & lights.....$495" they also have a picture with it. I thinb that is a pretty good deal. You get a billet grille, fog lights, and the cover. Their website is www. sporttrucking.com
Hope this helps.

about the other post... The retainers are for the full install and yes, the "bumper cover" is the part # you are looking for. The insert is the Grille and i am not sure of what the impact bar is...it either goes behind the grille shell for reinforcement or it is for the cover.

Thanks 99Z71. That is where I saw the bumper too. I called and they said they would take off $110 if I didn't want the billet with it. I think I will take them up on this deal it's a very good one. The only bad part is that it will cost like $70 to ship to me b/c it is so big.
---One other thing I was wondering about was how well everything lined up when putting that air dam on a chevy. I will make it look good for sure, but even still, you can only pull urethane just so far. Are there any more pictures of that guy's installed air dam on the red chevy? Does anyone know whose it is? or a link, homepage, e-mail, something?
Thanks once again, Ryan
