It would be nice to know how to set the timing on both...

Any codes? Just read the entire install instructions on AllData and it says even one tooth off it will throw a code.

Have you put it at TDC and all that mess?

I know the 03 s10 i had had a distributor like your talking about josh..HP tuners has tunes in there repository for 4.3's from 96-current so i think its non adjustable on the motor...Gotta do it through a tune..

Im pretty sure mine is off a tooth, it pops through the intake from time to time.

HAHA, It "backfires" through the filter under certain conditions when going WOT.

OHHH i get it, intake backfire, i thought you meant the distributor popped out the intake haha.
