cool, ive never really messed with them ive heard that the 80 does soak up alittle but i figure with the bigger/better stall it will make up for it.

no sir i didn't i was planning on going in February, but 3 outa the 5 trucks broke down including mine. I was also kinda hoping to get a before and after compassion but i will hit the track once i get the new one put in. I ended up getting a 4l80e from a member on here its a 2000 model 4x4 with 131k on the tranny. i plan on trying to go Turbo in the next year or so, my question is should i have a shift kit put in it now, or should i wait till i rebuild it for the turbo?

The 4.56's are nice! Fuel mileage took a little hit. It's about 14.5 mixed driving. My truck weighs in at 5560lbs without me in it. I've been a 9.79 1/8th mile at 70mph prior to headers, converter, or cam.

ya, im getting about 21 on the " 65" mph high ways. i always debated gears. but i really wanto boost my truck so ive been told 373s will be the Dope bomb diggity for that. i do think if i can get it to hook " without breaking crap" at 3500 and or even just from a flash it should roll out pretty good. im stoked just hope it all goes well.
