Default throwing the a/c belt

not sure why it has started this, but i have slung the a/c belt 2 times this week.. i guess it all this power ?

either way, i am not sure if the compressor had loosened from its mount, or the belt has stretched. i am gonna buy a new belt and try that ..

any one sure of where that compressor mounts up to the engine, or how many bolt it mounts with?

compressor mounts with 4 bolts. Either your compressor is trying to lock up and its throwing the belt, or you tensioner might be week causing not enough belt tension.

Is your pulley tightened all the way? Do the edges of your belts look chewed up?

I had issues with this as well. I replaced the tensioner and now I don't have a problem anymore.

Tensioner issues would be my first guess...

I've been averaging about one a year... I'm probably due for a tensioner myself, likely to be your issue as well.

i will check when i get off.. i think maybe the compressor might be loose?

whenever i pulled the tensioner down, the compressor moved about 1/2". i think it would sling the belt with that much movement..

the tensioner was pretty tight on there, the belt also looked decent.. i will have to take a look at it tonight though.
