Default Throttle body question on 2001 swap

I purchased a take out 5.3 with harness out of a 2001 Tahoe according to the yard I got it from. Sent my dad to Texas to get it so I didn't realize til he got home it had a drive by wire throttle body on it. I called the yard and they swore it was an 01 and didn't have the truck anymore to send me the throttle pedal and tac module. They did send ,e a drive by cable throttle body though.

Question is, do I just throw on the cable TB? Is it something that can be corrected in the tune or am I way off?

Or would I be better off getting a pedal and tac module? If that's the better route, do I just get any GM setup off of eBay or were they different over the years?

You can either get the correct ones for your application or re wire the harness for cable TB plugs. You have to split the large single TB plug into 2 separate plugs.

1 is TB position sensor the other is IAC valve.

The computer doesn't care. You can flash the operating system you need in.

Sounds good. I did figure some stuff out last night some 2000-2002 SUVs did come dbw and it had a 2 pin plug on the right side and 6 pin on left side. I can't figure out what route is best for me to take.

Yes, Suvs as well as trucks. It's the same basic system they used on the early corvettes it was an option with Vehicles equipped with the active suspension and also got you traction control.

If the Vehicle is already cable driven, I would leave it that way and adjust the harness accordingly.
