think I got a chance?

Well, I got challenged today by some guy thats a real *******. He just went out and bought a brand new 2500HD ext cab, lwb duramax w/ auto trans, completly stock. He challeged me to hook hitch to hitch in dirt or pavement, my choice and I could use 4wd and he would stay in 2 hi. Looking at my mods do you think I have a shot? I would really love to make this kid look bad. He said I could do whatever I want, he will stay stock.

If you guys are in dirt there is no way he will be able to drag you if he is in 2wd and you are in 4wd.
My friend has a 03 RC/SB Z71 truck and we did some experiments with my truck against his. Both trucks were bone stock. We hooked them up, but were on uneven ground as far as traction. He was on hard packed dirt and I was in some mud. We were both in 4 HI and we could not move each other. I would have pulled him back if both trucks were on the same kind of dirt, but if I had been in 2wd and he had been in 4wd, my friends truck would have drug me easily.

I set here a typed up a long post talking about how you were going to drag him in all around if your locked in 4lo. Then I realized that you said he has a duramax. Sorry dude but you dont have a chance in hell. He makes 590 lb/ft of torque at 1600 rpm! The Duramax is no joke. And your trying to compete with it in its best event. Pulling. Save your truck and admit defeat to him! I know how it feel to have a dick always bragging about his truck, I have a HEMI owner at work, but sometimes its cheaper to let them talk ****!

I guess I should have read the post better. Yeah I agree with Jorday, in dirt with him in 2wd he wont be able to get any traction and you will be able to pull him. I was thinking on pavement. If he gives you the choice pull him on dirt. You will have a chance.
