But it takes a good 320-330 at the rear to produce 400 at the flywheel. The hemi motor produces 255-285 rwhp a which is around 320-340 or so at the flywheel. A chip aint gonna give a truck 400 at the fly. IF you had a exhaust, intake, chip and headers it would be around 400 flywheel hp.

I said a chip and injectors.

I have a good feeling these new hemi's are way detuned from the factory. So, this way when another car maker ups the ante on HP, all dodge will have to do is give it more tune to compete. And it will not cost then a damn cent.
This is why dodge so closely guards their computer programming.

And I believe they are already talking about a bored and stroked version like a 6.0 + ltr.

And that's good. Because GM will have keep up with bigger HP engines.

Ohh and I don't think the 00' 5.3L was rated at 295HP because my 01' was rated at 285HP and they didn't go down.
285 HP through '03, 295 HP in '04.

Hmm, must be something weird there. I run my QC at 16.5's all day long here at 5200ft on stock 20's. The RC guy with 17's, drag slicks, and 4.56 gears hit 15.02 best. With the -1.03 second correction for altitude this puts us right in line with most other posted times for sea level.
Either way, nice kill and even nicer trucks.
Peace out, mod on!

Blah blah...Nice comparison. A stock 4 door truck that weighs over 5200 lbs compared to your modified reg cab... But hey, none the less, you won! I would be thrilled too!

BTW, I went 15.18 in my 4 door, bone stock w/home made CAI, 20" rims.

Don't get all rilled up everyone...
