with the outside of the tire being bald i thought the camber was off too. yes one was a dealership and the other was a shop a friend worked at and i even assisted him while we ran the test.

 

The camber would have to be way positive on that tire to cause outer edge wear, and would be out of spec. Did you get a print out of the alignment(s)?

If swapping the tires L to R doesn't do it, my second guess would be a bad bearing/hub assy like mentioned above.
