now right front tire is balding on the outside
could i have bent something in the front end?
im running out of options

If you bent something, the alignment checks would have seen it. When I bent a tie rod my truck was goofy. If it's pulling to one side all the time, it could be a stuck brake piston, maybe. I would say shocks b/c of tire wear but shocks don't make the truck pull. Could also be a hub bearing thats bad, anything that would cause drag. Hope that helps some, and good luck with it.

if it was a hub bearing wouldnt it make a grinding noise?
all the "bad" bearing problems i have dealt with or fixed were figured out cause it was real noisey.
i could change the shocks, hell probably needs it by now anyways.
if a stuck brake piston i should be eating thru pads on that one side more i would think.

A "bad" tire, or tire with shifted belts, will cause a pull that won't show up on an alignment rack, and may wear the tire prematurely. Try rotating the front tires left to right and see if the truck pulls to the other side.

A bad hub assembly, won't always make a grinding or a roar. The last one I replaced on my truck didn't make a sound, it just wore out a Nitto for me. But in your quest, you could very well have a bad hub, a bad tire or even a worn control arm. Check for up and down play in your hub, or have your tires Road Force Balanced to see if you indeed have a bad tire.

good to hear folks, i was thinking about rotating the tires in case of a bad tire.
Thanks Folks, will put these things to the test and report back.
