Default Tach!

OK, so as some of you know, my era of truck didnt come with a tach on most or any models period, not sure exactly. I replaced the stock radio in my truck, so where it was i'm planning on putting a tach as well as a tranny fluid temp guage. The tranny fluid guage is already wired, what i need from you experts is... how do i wire the tach? I honestly have no idea about any of it except the ground lol . It will be nice to know how fast my motors running. Thanks.
