i was thinking, would it be worth it to swap my shorty headers for some long tubes when i do a cammed 6.0l this summer? i figure i can sell the shorties and get back some of my money for the long tubes. worth it or not?

Defintly worth it, IMO shorties aren't worth the price. I would defintly get headers though as I think they are a worthwhile mod. Longtubes or stock manifold.

 

i really think the arizona speed and marine longtubes will flow the best for our trucks, they 1 3/4 inch primaries the thorleys are 1 5/8 i believe. o and yeah i think you should ditch the shorties. with a cam i bet you could see at least a 20 hp increase with the asm's.

 

I sould definately change out my shorties for some long tube headers. Looks like all the mid/long header are getting similar results on the dyno.

 

very worth it. the gais from shortys to Lts are aout the same from stock manifolds to LT's
