Just thought I would post up. It's been a little over 9000 miles ago I did the swap, and everythings still as good as gold. Better knock on some wood after this post.

Not yet. I'll have it in this week. I finally found a business that will put it in for me. It has to be ready for Sunday, because I have a "few" money races lined up.

Good deal. Ive put about 3000 on my LS1, and I still get all giddy when I push the pedal down. So are you still running your open diff with the setup? My eaton just cam in today

I'm running a stock g80 posi with 3.73s. It just isn't acting right. If I really get aggresive on the launch, I'll get a really good 60ft, but it will usually cut loose on the 61-62ft mark and smoke the tires. I'm really looking forward to launching above idle with the Eaton and seeing what this thing can really do.

I'm wondering if that isn't the cam coming into it's powerband...my truck and Vic's seem to break loose about that same spot too. Hmmmm.

BTW...I've only got 9k on mine and it's been done for almost a year now.

It could be, but I only get that one wheel burn that far out. I have to drive mine around 40 miles a day, so it tacks on the miles pretty quick.

Good lord Jeremy, thats alot of miles in 2 months. You're going to run that baby into the ground. Of course, it sounds like you are getting your moneys worth from it.

So, your truck was 5 years old before the swap. Don't you wish you had done it a long time ago.

7 Months and ~8000 miles on mine. So far, so good. I'm curious about how my oil analysis will turn out.
