Default Supertrap exhaust?

I have a 74 K5 blazer that has a 6.0L and a 4L80E for a drivetrain. I have MAC midlength headers and since it's smog exempt I want to go straight to sidepipe mufflers. Would supertrap be the way to go, or are there other alternatives?

Supertrap????? I didnt think they still made those things. I would say run a Flowmaster or a Magnaflow. I havent seen a Supertrap since i was a kid.

i dont think a super trap would be a very good desicion....mabye on a dirt bike or a lawn mower(lol) but not on a truck. Go with some bullets or magnoflow.

I have only heard of supertrapp for atv's, never for trucks.

Don't use SuperTrapp they suck ***, even on dirt bikes and atvs. Like several guys have mention go with Magnaflows; they are a lot cheaper than SuperTrapp if they are still made. I know several guys I ride with that have SuperTrapp and they completely remove disc and install an end cap, it looks similar to my FMF exhaust. I think the main reason why you see people have them on ATVs and dirt bikes is the price, last time I check I think they are around $200 for a complete system, while the FMF are around $600 - $800.

I agree, SuperTrapp is right up in the ranks with DG and White Brothers!

I wouldn't even think about buying a SuperTrapp exhaust for any application. I'd go for Magnaflow, Hooker Aerochamber, or something else in that region..

dynomax mufflers are the way to go if you arn't concerned too much with loudness, which you obviously arn't since you want a supertrap.

Summit racing sells 2 1/2" in/out bullets for $33 each. Best deal on a muffler you can find.
