Supercharger for lifted truck???
Getting a 03-06 tahoe z71.
Will be lifting with 6.5 bds lift and fox shocks.
18" wheels and 35" nitto trail grapplers.
Planning on doing k&n CAI, borla catback, and blackbear tune or another that anyone may suggest.
But i dont think it will be enough for me. I want this truck to be reliable but i know ill want more UMPH!
I would really like to go turbo but i was told it would be too impractical since ill be offroading and end up costing a bit more. So is a SC a better way to go?
If so what supercharger kits do you reccomend?
What else will i need to do besides
Injectors?
Head gaskets
Cam
Head work
Possible bottom end work
Thanks for any help!!!

I'd say take a look in the Forced Induction section, lots of good info in there on kits. I know a lot of people around here recommend TVS1900's, though.
The 4L60E is going to give up the ghost if you offroad it with a supercharger in a Tahoe, though. Simply not enough clutch area to survive the sort of torque you'll be loading it with.

Your stock gears can be 3.23, 3.43, 3.73 or 4.10:1 ratio. It depends on the RPO codes for the rearend that the truck shipped with. Since you got a 4x4 I'd say it's more likely you have the 3.73 gears. If you go up ratios you might lose a couple of MPGs on the highway but they will help offset the city losses inflicted by the big tires.
