Default suggestions welcome

i am looking at getting a stall for my truck. im not quite sure which one to get. i have a 4.8 with long tubes and ORY pipe, intake, and soon to be efi live tune. looking at a set of fairbanks servos. what stall would be recomended? my future plans may be a mp112 or tvs charger with custom grind cam. there is a local guy that has a midwest racing model#b85-5x 2200, 2800, or 3200 for $350. never heard of midwest so im unsure if it is a good buy.

I would suggest going with a Yank, PI, circle D.. But you will pay for them, but they are the best... When it comes to hp stuff you get what you pay for... With a tvs or 112 you won't need alot of stall, but i would go with a 3200 for the fun factor.. i have a 3200 and wish I would have went bigger, this i my DD..

Circle-D has a base model stall that isd 2800-3200 for like $425. It will be great until you decide to go with a supercharger. I have one and LOVE the driveability of it. One thing you have to consider is that each manufacturer will build the converter different. Circle D builds them tighter and that allows you to drive it around town like a lower stall but still stalling where you want when you need.
I had a loose on and switched to Circle D and I don't plan on using any other company because I like this one so much better.

The one I believe Chris from Circle D recommends for the higher HP, forced induction is a 258 mm (10.125") converter. I think he PM'd me it can stall up to 3500 if one so chooses that stall speed. I think he recommended me that 258mm wit ha 32-3400 speed for great street mannors, good performancer, and the ability to still tow.

depends on what you want to run for a blower if its a maggie then look into a 2600 to a 3000 and it would be peace of mind if it were a triple disk just cause your runnin a blower if it were na id say just run a single disk
