stupid question about power steering pumps
#1
OK, the power steering pump in my 05 CCSB GMC Sierra is dying. I'm looking at RockAuto at "new" pumps. They offer an AC Delco, but the description is for trucks that don't match my turd. Is there really any differences in the pumps?

I found this thread useful when looking for a pump for my LSA swapped colorado. I currently run a corvette pump with a smaller pulley that doesn't match the truck pump and seems to work just fine.

Ok if you just have a standard 2wd CC you likely need something listed under the remanufactured such as the 15909830.
How ever when I looked it up on a GM site I came up with an alternative that might apply and I believe is a new unit.
15909834
You really should call a dealer and get a part number from them based on your vin and then shop around for the best price.
