i have a 06 sierra rcsb and wondering if the tailgate protector was just held on by double sided tape and if so what is the best way to take it off and to get the tape off.... does it also clean the rear end look a lot thanks..

 

Yeah, but some of the tailgates are hollow with big oval holes under the piece.

 

I’m pretty sure they are all like that.

 

yeah, the "fancy" tailgate cap screws into those ugly *** holes.
