Hey, ive searched, and cant find crap. I was wondering if all possilbe to upgrade the stock stereo system but keep the stock cd player in my 03" reg cab silverado. Also, what speakers are you putting in for the fronts? Im talking what size components.

 

yes you can upgrade speakers and just run them off the the stock HU! they will sound much better with a amplifier though. i have the bose system in my truck and i like it enough that i haven't looked into anything. mabey moregrip will post in here he just did a stereo upgrade in his 03, even though it has been long and drawn out!

 

i was looking to add an amp and sub, w/components, or atleast wanted it as a viable option.
