Default STOCK 5.3 with a tune?????

Anyone done this on there 5.3. All I have done to mine is cai other than that its bone stock, and was lookin into a tune by bb or wheatley. Some ppl say its like night and day difference, but it depends on the power adders you have. Me only having cai was wondering about the tune, Im sure its noticeable but how much???? Just asking cause i bought another pcm to send to either one of the tuners, but not sure who to send it too... Any advise. Oh yea cats might be cut-off too, but still have stock exhaust

With the advent of EFILive Autocal, you absolutely can't go wrong with either one IMO.

Yes it will make a nice difference, even stock.

Your going to notice a difference with the tune. It will run better, run harder, shift better, and get better mpg. I would at least change out the muffler. I know I put a stock catback back on my truck for a couple months and it really choked it down in power. The tune can be updated at a later time when you add more mods. I have a Wheatley tune, its been tuned for three or four years now. No problems and makes my lil 4.8 run hard.

I dont know about a tbss sound, but you cant go wrong with a magnaflow or a dynomax bullet. If you got the money to spend, corsa would be the way to go.

For me it was a night and day difference. Since I have a NNBS that comes with tons of torque management in the factory tune, taking some of that out via efilive and changing timing/air to fuel made a big change in the way the truck ran. Also milage got better. So yes I highly recommend a tune from one of the sponsors.
