Fuel cut, either ground or hot wire would be your best bet.. but not under the hood where you can pull the relay and put in a jumper wire from pins 30 to 87.

Damn that sucks, lucky you got there when you did and not a split second later.

The toggle switch for the fuel pump sounds like a good way to start.

Damn sorry to hear of that, good that you got to it before they took it though. My 1911 is my Alarm, and I don't DD my truck so I don't have to park it anywhere questionable. When I do drive mine to work its parked in a Secure Facility.

Glad to hear you stopped it. Too many scumbags out there these days. I like the fuel pump cutoff idea, I might do that.

Was the viper a quality install with everything hidden and loomed soldered and heat shrinked or was it a rats nest under the column with t-taps on all the wires. If it was the latter there was your problem. I did starter interrupt and a fuel pump cut that is tied into the alarm and hidden in a no one find it spot in a undisclosed location and it's soldered heat shrinked and 5 rolls of 3m tape to tape it all into the oe harness.

I still like the bagged, body dropped, completely shaved, alarmed, fuel pump cut off, and quick release air line idea. Yes that was my last truck and I might be a bit paranoid, but it was never stolen or towed, lol.
