Maybe 36K the cheapest. Is there a dealer mark up?

Dude, the chevy shop by my house, has about 12 of these. They got in 14 of them about 4 months ago, and I was there last week, and they still had 12 more left. I guess they are not selling as they would have expected! I thought even with everything that the truck has, that it was a little over priced.

I went to the track on Friday, and finally someone in Vegas brought out there SS. Older guy, I went to talk to him and he did not look like someone that would ever go to the drag strip. He ran 5 times, and he got between 16.01 at 84.3mph to 16.1 at 83.8mph. Talk about consistant runs. He said that he would hold onto the brake and floor it, then he would launch. The thing looked like it would want to leap off the line, but it would then look pretty slow. Not that I should talk, cause I only run consistant 15.7s and I had $2400 in performance work done!

How fast were these things supposed to be from the factory?

they will do a 15.3 stock but Motor Trend got the Stock SS to run a 14.8 time in the 1/4
and i got mine for just about 35000 before tax.
sounds to me like that guy did not know how to drive if he is getting 16.1

Mine stickered for $40,550, and I gave $35,700 (invoice) minus $3500 in rebates and $1500 from my GM card for a purchase price of $30,700.

I'll say this, I really like this truck. I need to get some more mods on it and hook up the juice.
