In all fairness you need to get to the dyno and get a 1/4 time, thoses gear may not pull like you expect on the top end.I am sure you are using the 1/8 with a calculator to come up with and est.I have seen the variables play out and be out of wack.

Before the cam or e-fan, I went 13.99 and that was my first and only time to run the 1/4 since adding any mods...so I know it more in it...And on top of that, my 1/8th ET was only a 8.92 on that 13.99 pass. I have only run the 1/8th once since the cam install, and I ran a 8.75 in the 1/8th in warm air (70's)...so that is a .2 drop in ET in the 1/8th alone, which would be roughly .3 quicker in the 1/4. Since the cam install, my topend power is where I saw the biggest gains, so I know for a fact that my topend is BETTER now that it was before.

And I do agree with you that I need to take it back to the track and dyno, but I know that it will go 13.6 in the 1/4 and at least 340rwhp/355rwtq on the dyno. I am also basing this off the times and numbers my close friends have put down with identical mods from intakes, headers, cam, e-fan, etc...alll the same...and I run right side by side with them...whoever gets the jump wins.

And Coltsteele...I already gave the wheels to my brother about a month ago...sorry.

Awesome!! And about the thread...I have just been sitting back and laughing about it as well. Some of the Dodge guys are starting to get mad, but most of them are just kidding around and having a good time. I would like to have a BIG all truck race GTG...I will bring the hemi and the chevy...I'll let my brother drive the hemi and smank his *** with the 6.0

I hope we are able to put a date so we can all get together. You know we had an All Truck Shoot Out last year in SC and only got 2 Chevy's and 1 Ford to come- other than that it was all Dodges. It was fun but not what we had wanted.

And I know you gave'em to your bro- you think he'd trade me? LOL

this is true and the 5.3's are winning. with the right driver and conditions, these truck are capable of mustering 15.00's in the 1/4mi. also some even down to the high 14's.
3 yrs ago 14.6 with K&N and flowmaster on stock tires and full weight with a 5.3 and HEMIs with similar mods had no chance

overweighted, underpowered, poor drivetrain and etc list could go on
