call the dealer and ask them for the CASH Price for XXX company (make up a name if you have to or use the name of a local shop)... this works expecially at Service Chevy in Lafayette, I had to buy an enitre mirror assembly for my old S-10 when I was living there in college

Yeah, I hadn't realized it, but the plastic mounting piece behind the mirror is missing. I went to the dealership this afternoon and the guy told me i had to buy a whole new mirror kit for $120. I looked around and found a whole mirror on ebay for $35 shipped.

If you have what I need maybe my dad can pick it up from you because he is around Pierre Parte everyday. He does work for some cane farmers there.
