I want to hook an amp to my stock stereo. i was wondering if anyone knew how to hook up rca jacks up to the back of my stock head unit so i can hook up my amp.....

 

i just went off the rear left speaker wire underneath and tapped it into an adapter. just go to your local stereo shop and tell them what your doing. they will know what give you. dont pay alot. even check radioshack.

 

i guess that would make it easier then... you got everything right there. other than running power wires. what about the amp turn on lead where did you get that from?

 

just ran the blue wire or remote wire up to the fuse box on the driver side. i have it in one of the accessory fuses. i just exposed the wire about 1/2 an inch and remove the fuse. then i just put it in back with the fuse.

 

the rca box adapter is only like $10-$15, a local stereo store would be your best bet to get them cheaper...
