Default Sold my beater and Gas is killing me.

I sold my Sunfire and gas is now killing me. Last time I filled up, I drove 39X miles to the time my "Low Fule" light came on and I still feel like I am getting crappy milege from my truck.

I kno whow you feel. I sold the grand am for 1500. Today I put 21 bucks of gas in the truck, still didn't get half way up, and the bad part is, it won't last me more than 5 days driving straight to and from work keeping my foot OUT of it.

Motorcycle time.

Buells XB12s has to be ridden hard to get less than 52mpg, plus it has torque!

I plan on having my semi-resto done and riding my Yamaha DS7 in a month or so.

welcome to the world of people that only have one vehicle. I am about to find out how well my truck runs on 87.

I am really considering buying something for 1 or 2K to drive back and forth to work.

I've thought seriously about going and getting a cheap *** bike too. A 250 is all I need to get back and forth to work.

Thats what mine is. 250cc two-stroke twin.

These early yamaha's are so easy to work on. If you get a 350 and do some work to it, you can get a 65hp bike that weight about 250lbs.

That's one of the reason I bought a beater. It cost me $72 to fill up the truck the other day. I only drive it once a week though *phew*
