I seen pics of the 2003 Silverado SS. I like <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> How much are these going to retail for? 6.0 AWD <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> Besides looking good will it be able to tow a car and trailer with out a problem or should i go with a standard 1500. Thanks

The same price as the Sierra Denali/C3....
because it's the same truck. Not worthy of the "SS" badging.

just get a regular 1500. you can drop in yur own 6.0L and do an AWD conversion and still be cheaper than that i'm sure.

 

The "SS" stands for "Super Slow" 38 grand for a 4wd you can't even take off road. No matter how Chevy tries to justify it, they screwed up. They need to quit looking in the mirror and telling them selves they did the right thing and just admit it will sell about as well as the C3 and move on. BTW, the C3 fell over 80% short of what they expected in sales.

I think you're right Greg. I'll betcha the guys up in the GM office said, "Hey, we've got all these leftover C3 parts sitting around....Let's put them on another heavy truck and call it the SS! Oh yeah, let's wait till 2003 so it will look ugly as **** too!"

I really like the Avy front clip on a LOW truck. Stock, they look like ***. But throw a little billet on there and paint match some stuff, and they turn out alright.
