i have sirius and i too think its great. and to everyone who thinks paying for radio is absurd - listen to it for a while. you'll understand why its good, when you can listen to a song undedited, listen to the game while traveling, no commercials etc etc etc.

Only con to XM is no Stern. If you could care less about Howard Stern then:
XM Pros:
Cheaper
More satalites which translates into better reception.
No commercials
I listen to XM all day long at my shop and will have Sirius hooked up in the next 2 weeks but I'll be putting XM in my cars.

I never have any reception problems with Sirius. I had XM before I got Sirius. I didnt like it, thus why I made the switch to Sirius. Only thing XM has on Sirius IMHO is the NASCAR channel.

Again, if you don't care about the comedy shows or online stuff then it's cheaper.. And up until about a month ago XM was free online also. Once Sirius catches up to XM in listeners I bet things will even out. Stern is helping their #s dramatically. If Stern went ot XM I bet Serius would have went the way of the Dodo ahahaha
Either is a great format so listen to both and check out each channel and see which one fits you best.

What didn't you like about XM and what makes you like Sirius better?
This info is helpful for me when I try to see which format is better for my customers
