The IATs were ambient at the end of his 1/4 mile run It's okay I had to do a quick reread too. It came out the same as you thought on my end too the first time I sped through it

Parish I think a new header would be great. The flow directions of the last one did look a bit strange. Alcohol/Methanol injection works wonders from what I read

what ever happened to the 16 injector intake?
still thinking about it but i am leary of trying to do it with the stock plastic intake and to do an intake in aluminum would cost quite a bit. lots of options and the alkey has bold claims for a resonable cost so i am going to try that first. might be all i need.

• Adds 12-25 horsepower over the factory manifold
• Standard 85mm throttle body opening
• Flows approximately 15% better than Z06 manifold
• Made from lightweight 356 aluminum
• Factory style o-ring gasket design
• Standard titanium powder coat finish

That's mainly on naturally aspirated cars that run straight alcohol of any variety.

A guy up at the track one night with his alcohol burning racecar was telling how if the car started to get warm while sitting there idling all he had to do was blip the throttle and dump some extra alcohol in to cool it off. He said at the END of the 1/4 the temperatures were real low.

I've been meaning to ask, how does the oil look from your 408? Any abnormal particles on the drain plug? Have you thought about sending off an oil sample to get checked?

i think cmotorsports is going to check it for me(or for them i guess). it looks good to me. i have at least 2000miles on it(the oil) and it is starting to look a little dirty. time for a change i suppose. it has used about 1/2 quart in that time. i have not been easy on it. some leaded fuel and lots of gtechs and dyno runs.

i really dont know how often to change the oil. i am using some of the best oil you can get. i will never go over 3000miles. with the way i drive 3000 may be way too long.
