The block has steel 0-rings on the deck for sealing with copper head gaskets and ARP studs. I opted for a little more compression this time to help with low end torque. Maybe it will run by x-mas?

Holy hell thats awesome! So what ring gap are you gonna gap it at this time round?

I'll have to do more investigating on that but probably about .005" more. Next time I don't think I will go any more lean than 11.3:1 to keep it on the safe side. It was 11.7-8 before.
