i don't know if they can do that w/o proof of ownership?? im still waiting for the insurance company to give me a call back. Until then i get to drive the shop truck, with a big IR compressor in the back. Ima become a mobile service man on the weekends!

Sorry to hear that man, I had someone break into mine down at ASU like a month after I got it, but when they cracked open the steering column the ignition disables, mine's an '03, luckily they couldn't take it, and didn't steal anything.

What happens in a case like this with a highly modded vehicle?? Do you just eat the loss on aftermarket parts?? This is one of my worst fears.

i don't know??? insurance said they would cover stereo equipment, but not sure on aftermarket performance parts. I hope so, i barely put on my ASM LT's!! damn the bastards that took her.

i got a 98 ecsb 4x4 and i had the truck for 2 weeks before somebody busted my drivers window and removed the alpine. the truck didnt leave but man was it a blow to me. my baby, my truck and some *** smashed the window. i know how you feel. if i was home in phx id keep a look but i doubt it will end up in kuwait. good luck.

Do you mean you covered your VIN up. Can they get a key from your VIN cause I think I will cover mine up to.

do you have onstar or was it avail. then? and the police say they cant do much??!! they can take a report and start looking for it. get it entered as stolen thru NCIC and if someone happens to run across it they can recover it.
